If you are not satisfied by Outlook's contact book, this one could be
your choice.

You may import Outlook's address book into Open Contacts, along with
the categories.

Open Contacts is an address book with CRM features providing unified,
flexible and intuitive interfaces for you to manage and lookup contact
info of people and companies. Open Contacts shows only info you
inputted. You can seamlessly customize what can be stored in your
address book. New ways of communication will be invented in the future,
Open Contacts is flexible to such changes.

Essential Features:

1. Details are stored in sections of data fields that are dynamically
customizable, with predefined data fields.
2. Associate people with companies, and associate companies with
departments or subsidiaries.
3. Categorize people contacts and company contacts in hierarchy trees.
4. Search contacts info through any data field.
5. Dynamic shortcuts to telephony, skype, emailing or Web browsing.
6. Import contact info in other formats, such as MS Outlook, XML,
Eudora, Mozilla, CSV, Excel and vCard.
7. Export contact info to text, CSV, Excel and XML.
8. Save and load different customized layouts of contact info.
9. The program is small and green enough to run on a memory stick.
10. Support multilingual features.
11. Native supports for concurrent access of multiple users in Local
Area Network.
12. Print contact info using built-in functions or external label
printing programs.

Version 2.9
· By right-clicking on a category, you may view contacts of the
category and all its subcategories recursively.
· Interact with Skype. You may add predefined field "Skype". When you
select a Skype field, the Action button will allow you start a Call or
start a Chat. You need to run Skype and logon first.
· In the Edit Company window, you may associate the company with
selected people in the People list.
· Import contacts from Eudora. During importing, you may create
category for each book of Eudora's address book, or you may let Open
Contacts create a category for each book automatically with the book
name.
· Provide Quick View mode. In the Main window's toolbar, you will see
a checkbox "Quick View". If checked, in either the People list or the
Companies list, when you click on a contact or press cursor key,
contact details will be shown right away. However, either the Edit
Person window or the Edit Company window will not have focus. This
feature is handy for you to have a quick view on a list of contacts. If
un-checked, you need to double click on a contact to view details, and
the Edit Person window or the Edit Company window will have focus.
Apparently, when you try to link a department to a company, you should
make sure that this checkbox is un-checked.
· Provide Wizard to import contacts from
Netscape/Mozilla/Thunderbird.
· Convert selected people to companies. This feature is handy for
importing contacts that were categorized as companies in legacy address
books. And you may convert selected companies to people if mistakes
were made.
· When importing from MS Outlook, you have an option of letting Open
Contacts import categories of each contact. The categories will be
created at the first level of the category tree.
· Provide predefined fields "File" and "Image".
