If XP crashed, how to backup outlook?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to backup outlook in case of XP
crashed?
Can I copy any file under any specific folder, and paste into the new XP
computer? then all emails within Outlook can be transferred.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Usually you make backups before something happens. It is now a search and
rescue mission ;-)

See if you can rescue any pst-files of the disk. Once found, copy them to a
backup location. Once you're restored your computer and reinstalled Outlook,
you can recover the pst-file.
