When browsing a website,I get kicked out of the website. An Error message reads,
Iexplore.exe application error. The instruction at 0x7499b750 referenced
memory at 0x00000044. Memory could not read. Does anyone have an idea why
this is happening. I did a virus scan and found nothing. It seems to only
happen on 2 or 3 websites and not othesrs.

See if there is some unique feature on these websites. Multimedia effects, perhaps Java apps. What's common to them?

First, close IE , run Disk Cleanup. Delete temp files and Temporary internet files.

Run a RAM memory test. MEMTEST86 is one such utility.
See http://www.memtest86.com/

Insure you do not have bad, marginal, or flaky RAM memory chips. Likewise, insure you have good/steady electric power & no hardware problems.
Also, have good pc ventilation & adequate cooling. Beware overheating.
If you suspect a heating problem, first be sure there is sufficient space all around the pc case for air circulation. Be sure there is nothing blocking any air intake slots. Take a look at the power supply fan (usually in back of the pc case) to be sure it is not blocked with dust & gunk, and that it is turning when power is on.

Take a look at the system's Event Log:
Select Start button/ select Run , then type in

eventvwr.msc<enter>
-- or Go to Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance/Administrative Tools >Event Viewer.

Review the sections and look for Errors or Warnings that match the time the event occurred. Double click---the information "may" give a clue.

Worked for me I was getting memory read errors and this fixed it.
