IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers

I cannot get this to work properly and I believe it's a
problem regarding my ATI All In Wonder 8500DV video card.
The system is not recognizing the fire wire capture
abilities of the card. How do I fix this?

I may be having similar problems - when I try to use my
fire wire card to capture a DV recording, it tells me the
data transfer rate is too small (showing as roughly
27kb/second while the required is roughly 4000kb/sec.

Running windows 2000
320 MB Ram
brand new 140 GB hard drive
500 mhz

Pinnacle LINX 1394 card

- my PC *should* be capable of completing the task.

- is it possible that the ltra TX2 IDE Controller card for
the Hard drive is affecting the transfer rate?
