IE7 Re-direction hassles...?

Kenneth

Howdy,

I am running IE7, and have Google set as my default Search
Engine.

Now, for some reason, when I search for anything, the
results display as I would expect, but then, if I click on
any link, I see it for an instant, but am then re-directed,
often to other search sites.

I assumed this to be a spyware problem, and have run
Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster. The first two found
problems, and I removed them, but the problem continues.

Might you have a suggestion?

Sincere thanks,

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)

Please note - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/support/default.mspx

IE7 questions should be posted to the Internet Explorer General newsgroup as
below -

In your Newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you need to use the Web Interface -
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
