IE6 +XP New modem/router stops IE opening

New Belkin MIMO modem router. Other 3 computers all OK, but on last one IE
hangs every time I try to open it. Have uninstalled wireless MIMO adapter and
IE is fine. Reinstall - problem again. Had lengthy call to Belkin to get the
computer to communicate with the router - could something be conflicting now?
Strange thing is, this computer has been quite happy for two years on my old
Belkin modem router, albeit on a wired connection (not possible to wire it
now due to reorganisation). Help, please!
