IE6 won't recognize internt connection

Several weeks after installing wireless networking my
browser has stopped recognizing the internet connection.
It did weork at first. Connection works ok with other
programs, including Netscape. Downloaded ie6 and loaded
that but no help. Just says "Page Cannot be Found"

Have you run Windows Update and installed update #820291.
If so, you may have to uninstall it. I ran into the same
problem you described. You can see my posting just before
yours, posted at 10:33am 4/22/04, titled IE6 Update
#820291 Disables browser.
I spent two days trying to figure out what caused the
problem. If you hve not done Windows Update, you will
probably have to go back to the previous version of IE to
make it work.
