IE6 SP1

Sachin

I recently installed Service Pack for Internet Explorer.
Since then I can no longer paste files, the browser does
not load any emails using my employer's Outlook Web Access,
and does not display any dropdowns on various websites.

Is there a way I can uninstall IE6 and/or the service pack?

Anyone run into this?

Thanks,
Sachin

IE6 can be uninstalled from the Add/Remove in the Control Panel. However,
there is also a repair option when you get there. Suggest trying that
first. If there is no Microsoft Internet Explorer SP1 in the Add/Remove
then in the Program Files Directory look for Internet Explorer, open the
file and look for an uninstall executable. Sometimes this won't unistall
though if the rollback files to the previous browser version are gone or
corrupted. If all else fails, in the WINNT directory is a folder called
Windows Update Setup Files. In it should be a setup exe for IE6 and all the
cab files to reinstall the browser.
