IE6 sp1 NT 4.0: Crashes at random times

Can anyone shed some light on this situation. I have a web
application that uses behaviors and regular javascript. IE
crashes at random times. (Microsoft Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience.) It doesn't matter what I'm doing on
the web application, and it could be left idle for many
hours before it crashes again. Here is the following error
message I get when the error reporting tool pops up.

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
wininet.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1106 Offset: 0000fedb

Also, I found that if I simply move the error screen to
the side, I can still use the web application with no
problems. I was also able to go to other websites with no
problems. It almost seems like IE never crashed, but
somehow it caused the error to popup.

Any help with is issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Luc.

IE Help>About>Update Versions> is Q818529 listed here? Are you running
Mshtml.dll version 6.00.2800.1170?

Anything relevant for you in Q331284?

If by chance you're running Yahoo Companion (Toolbar) or Google Toolbar,
uninstall it.

ok....I'll get the fix and try it out. Thank you for your
help.

Do I actually have to contact Microsoft to get the fix? Or
is there a place it can be downloaded?

Just thought that I'd ask....

Thanks again.

Luc.
