IE6 SP1 download gets error "not XP logo verified"

Running XP pro, downloading internet explorer 6 service
pack 1, get error, "this software does not pass XP logo
____, software will not be installed, contact system
admin." Help? Would just get xp service pack 1 & 2 but
I get message that registration key not valid, but i
bought OS @ compusa. not sure if this could be cause of
IE6 SP1 problem
