IE6 not saving Temporary Internet Files

S

Simon

I hope some-one can help with this

For one particular site (www.kvr-vst.com), IE6 is not
storing any of the elements of the pages as Temporary
Internet Files, so each time I access them all the page
elements have to be downloaded, slowing down the response.

I have accessed many other sites and IE6 saves their
Temporary Internet Files OK. I have deleted all the ifles
and cookies, but still have the problem.

Any idea what is happening here and how can I fix it?
Is this something defined by the the site or somewhere in
IE6 or the Registry?

TIA

Try to save the page with Save As Web complete.
If you cannot then the page is set not to cache in your TIF.

This Web Page Could Not Be Saved
When you attempt to save a Web page using the Web Page, complete
(*.htm;*.html) or Web Archive, single file (*.mht) options in Internet
Explorer, you may receive the follow error message: Error Saving Web Page.
This Web page could not be saved.

Thanks for the info.

I can save the web pages quite happily, both as Web Page,
Complete (.htm) files and as Wb PAge, Archive (.mht)
files.

So the pages are not marked as "do not cache" (and i have
confimred that with the KvR web site administrator.

Some-one has suggested a corrupt IE cache - I guess that
might cause the problem, and if so, how do I fix it?

TIA
