IE6 Hangs after loading

I have an issue with my IE6 freezing, and it's
consistent, that each time i launch a new window, or click
on a link in an existing window, it would load quickly,
but at the very end, when the blue status bar on the
bottom is 99% complete, it freezes for about 30 seconds,
and then operates fine on just that page. it occurs in
every IE6 i've opened, and i've corrected any AD-Ware that
existed, which mainly corrected the pop-up ads.

Please advise

If you have an unused network card, disable it.

Hi Jason
I had the same problem and last night I down loaded some
new up dates that our wonderful MSN company has and it
seems like it kind of took care of this problem. I am
running 2000 pro what a nightmare. I was just about ready
to reformat today as a matter of fact. So I thought I
would give it one more try and so far so good. So go to
msn and let the systme check for updates to your system
and pick the ones you need. There was one about an update
for windows 2000 #kb820888 this had something to do with
the screen freeze. Good Luck cgward
