IE6 changes file name when saving a picture

On trying to save a photo from a web page, the name of the
file is changed to "Untitled" and the .bmp format. It
also starts the subdirectory selection at "My Pictures."

Is there a way to save the file with the name originally
used on the web page, so it would not change
from "Pic1.jpg" to "Untitled.bmp" and also to select a
different directory? (There is no problem with these
issues with Netscape.)

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
