AOL is new to me & for 3 weeks I have tried to learn how
to get AOL (my company's chosen ISP, not mine) to work
with IE (Internet Explorer, the default browser).
New H.P. computer set-up came with AOL 9 and Internet
Explorer 6.0 already installed but the guy who set the new
computer up said he had to change out AOL 9 for AOL 8, and
did so. I can read e-mail but cannot browse - a message
comes up that Internet Explorer can't find a web page. I
have spent hours with AOL reps as well as with Hewlett
Packard reps (on the phone because I have no access to any
web sites) and have changed configurations over and over.
Any directive at resolution will be appreciated - I think
the problem can be fixed - I just don't know how!
