IE will not load

When I attempt to open IE I get a message that says:' Runtime Error! - This
application has asked runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact
application support team for more information.

I have to use firefox instead of IE but would like to be able to use IE.
However I do not want to pay $35 for support.

Any ideas?

Hi,
The Google toolbar has been causing the C++ Runtime error recently. Try
uninstalling the Google toolbar from Control Panel> add/remove programs. You
may be able to reinstall it or you may have to wait for a newer version.

See:

If the Goodle toolbar isn't the culprit, another BHO, toolbar or add-on may
be. If running XP SP2, try IE> Tools> Manage add-ons. Disable third-party
add-ons to see if one of them is the culprit. If not using SP2, try BHODemon

Hope this helps,
