Hi,
Very weird problem here:
Trying to open IE takes up to 3 minutes. Doesn't matter
how I try to open it, from the run command, from a desktop
shortcut or trying to open a saved page.
I have virus-checked and checked for Spyware.
I have disabled the virus-checker.
I have uninstalled and re-istalled.
I have run Windows Update and installed all critical
updates.
When clicking on the IE icon, the hourglass appears for
less than a second and then disappears. Checking in Task
Manager processes, you can see another instance of
IExplore appear each time you click on the IE icon, but
the CPU time is always 0.
Any help greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Steve
