IE Script Error

Hello,

I keep getting a script error when I visit some websites. The error is:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: line
Char: character
Error: Class not registered

I can't seem to fix the problem. I have already tried Microsoft's KB
Article 306831. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Reece :)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

This error can occur if the Urlmon.dll file is not registered on the
workstation that reports the error. To resolve this issue, follow the steps
below:

Go to Start>Run and enter the following command and press enter.

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

When prompted with the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message,
click OK.

also..

Disable Script Debugging:

Open IE
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced
Under Browsing:
Check the box nex to "Disable Script Debugging"
Uncheck the box nex to "Display a notification about every script error"
Click Apply
OK

Hope this helps.
