IE Script Error

I have just recently installed a MCSE Self-Paced Training
Kit, but i am unable to use the software due to IE Script
Error. The application i am trying to open is the; MCSE
Readiness Review- Installing, Configuring, and
Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional.

The Script Error i recieve has the following details:

Line: 17
Char: 1
Error: 'obBigList.documentElement' is null or not an
object
Code: 0
URL: file://C:\Program Files\MCSE Readiness Review\70-210
\Engine\RRev.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Yes or No?

If i click yes, i further get errors. Could someone help
me on this problem

I don't think using IE 5.0 or 5.5 would help or make a
difference, as the CD is offering IE 6.0 and i am using
IE 6.0. My platform is Windows XP Professional

Try it in a browser such as IE 5.0 or 5.5.

That's weird a CD-ROM offering training on Windows 2000 that forces IE 6. Hmmmm....

The trouble is obBigList.documentElement is null. That means obBogList has either not been defined in the script in RRev.htm well or your scripting has been disabled by something. I think Andrew has it.

Likely if you had done what I suggested it would have worked only because that machine wouldn't have the same security installations as you have in XP. I wonder if SP2 may have resulted in this.

Well, i disabled this function, however still having the
problem. George perhaps your right on SP2, it may of
disabled it. Well, i will try IE 5.0 and IE 5.5
