IE Saves .GML as .XML

When I right-click on a .gml file and select "Save As...", the file extension
is changed to ".xml", and the file type is "XML Document" by default. I have
to manually select "All File (*.*)", and write ".gml" to save the file using
its correct name and extension.

This might be the expected behavior, but it is very annoying. When you
download a gml file, you expect to receive a gml file, not a ".xml". I think
it is a fairly recent issue.

Is this a bug? If so, how do I report it?

If it's not a bug, how do I force IE to NOT rename the file?
