IE Privacy Keeper v2.73 - Anyone Running this on Vista?

M

Margaret

On my WinXP Pro SP2 box, I run IE Privacy Keeper along with SpySweeper
and Eset NOD32. IEPK works fine, w/ both IE7 and FF2.0.0.3. I just
installed it on my Vista (Home Premium-32) machine, hoping it would run,
but it's not recognizing Firefox properly, even though I've correctly
pointed IEPK to the Firefox exe and profile. No amount of restarting,
etc., has made any difference.

Has anyone succeeded in getting IEPK2.73 to work on 32-bit Vista? Also,
I'm thinking of turning off Win Defender and installing SpySweeper, but
before I buy a second license, I wonder if anyone has any words of
wisdom. I'm running Eset NOD32 on both WinXP and Vista boxes w/o incident.

Thanks and Regards,

Margaret

Have you checked with the program author for info on Vista compatibility?

Yes, and I've gotten no response, so I thought I'd ask here....

I've done that here. I'm not a big fan of defender it has to be said.
Spysweeper is working well for me with Vista it has to be said. Nice and
