IE printing to non-default printer

IE prints to the network printer instead of the default local printer(even
thought the web program print options show the default.)
Office prints to the default printer.
1. What is the cause?
2. How can I change the setting so that it prints to the default printer of
the user?

I have already done this.
Also, locally installed programs print to the default printer without
issues. It is only the web program/IE that has the issue.

Re-check your default printer [ again ] by going to START/Printers and Faxes

Now right click on your default printer and select "Set as default printer". This is the second item on the list.

Now right-Click again on that printer and this time slect "Properties". This is last item on the list.

Click on Print Test page and see where is it printing to.

Hope this helps.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.
