IE on XP SP/2 using VPN

T

Tom Keifer

I have an XP Pro SP/2 laptop connecting to the business LAN via VPN.
Outlook, network shares, and network printers all work fine. When trying to
access the Intranet site (Companyweb/SharePoint services) Internet Explorer
is conneting directly to the Internet through the ethernet adapter.
I've searched the Miscrosoft Knowledge Base several different ways and
haven't been able to find a way to reconfigure IE to use the PPP Adapter
instead of the Ethernet Adapter.
Thanks

By default, Windows VPN should use the remote network gateway. If it
doesn't, you may re-enable it. This search result may give more details.
