IE Memory Problem

I am running IE6 with WInXP and started receiving this
error when playing games at Pogo.com. "Your browser does
not have enough free memory to run the game. The game
applet requires approx. 3MB of free memory to run, in
addition to your browser's normal memory requirements." I
have been playing these games for month's now without any
problem until the last 2 weeks. I have run, adaware,
spybot, cleared files and cleaned files, turned off
everything that is not needed running in the background
and nothing seems to help the problem. Does anyone have
any suggestions that I could try. My PC is a Dell 2350,
P4, 2.20GHZ with 256MB DDR SDRAM. Any suggestions is
greatly appreciated.

My guess is you have some kind of compatibility issue
and the message is erroneously being used to try to report that.

Which version of Java are you using?
If MS Java try activating the Java Console and see if there are any
better clues in it. If Sun Java try reposting in their support forums.
You are unlikely to get much help here if that product is the cause of
the problem.

Alternatively you could take a stab at repairing or reinstalling your
Java support or switching to the other provider's version.

A recently issued repair procedure for XP includes some repair
for MS Java.

regsvr32 msjava.dll

So if you don't have that module that implies that you don't have MS Java.

Good luck
