IE Maintenance Broken

J

James

Running Win2k Domain, SP4

I added some sites into our trusted sites, and set some Active X
options to enabled (User\windows settings\ie
maintenance\security\security zones\import) on a test OU.

I then logged on a user in that test OU and the settings were properly
applied. However when I went and changed the settings (made the active
X settings disabled) and rebooted, they weren't re-applied. Even
waiting past the default 90 minutes that GP gets refreshed.

What gives?

IE maintenance policies are not applied unless there is a change in the
policy. The following article gives you the policy that needs to be set to
ensure that the policy is re-applied during each refresh cycle.
