ie error launching video in msn/msnbc

hit "debug" and get X instruction 0x3553bdc1 referenced
memory ! "0x00000000" the memory could not be read
hit "cancel" to debug: application error has occurred and
app error log is being sent...
exception access volation 0xc0000005 address 0x3553bdc1

anybody able to assist? I'm guessing it's a setting. thanks

Make sure it's not caused by some parasite.
The error message would indicate so.

Remove all the parasites on your computer.
Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.
