IE crashes when trying to view MSN videos (please help)

Jason

While running MSN news videos my internet explorer
crashes. I thought the file involved was URLMON.dll
It was suggested to run regsvr32 Urlmon.dll but it still
crashes. I even tried to reinstall IE explorer but I have
had no luck. I need any help that you can give. (Thank
you Kelly) Any suggestions?
I have checked all of my settings (compared them to a
machine that is not having this problem) and have found
them to be fine. I have no viruses and have no spyware.
This is the only problem that I have encountered, and
everything else works fine.

Thanks in advance, Jason

Try updating your video drivers.

My video drivers are at the latest updates and I still
have the problem.

MSN videos play in WMP9 Series, open WMP, tools, options,
in the 1st
page select, connect to the internet. You might also go
to search at Microsoft,
type: macromedia You'll get directed to their site,
install shockwave then flash
player, their required for on-line viewing as you're
trying to do.

OOPS, spoke too soon. It is still crashing. Any other
suggestions?

Thanks. That seems to work. The box was unchecked and I
already have shockwave and flash. It seems to work for
now. Thanks again,

Unable to locate any error code or additional info on
this problem on this site. The Windows media player does
not give me any codes. It just crashes the whole IE
explorer and closes after asking to send an error report
to Microsoft. I have the error record and a screen shot
if anybody would like to view it.

Thanks,
-Jason
