IE closes 2nd window before loaded

I have IE 6 w/sp1 and Windows XP w/sp2. I recently have had IE close a 2nd,
smaller window (such as an agreement before downloading a driver or opening a
figure for a textbook) on some pc's on my network but not all of the pc's
(suggesting not a server or firewall problem) with the same user login. All
IE options are the same on all pc's.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Are users allowed to install toolbars, etc? Yahoo companion is notorious for
causing this. Any other program or add-on which has a pop-up blocking
feature may also be causing it.
