I have a couple of Windows 2000 PCs running IE6 SP1. On
both of these machines, print requests from IE always
appear blank except for the header and footer. On further
investigation we found that Print Preview was also blank
except for the header and footer. I don't know why IE is
not printing the web pages. They appear correctly in the
browser but are blank in Print Preview or while printing.
I checked MSKB and there are only 2 references I can find,
neither of which apply or fixed the problem:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=257097. Which did not
apply - this problem occurs on ALL web pages. Also
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;271583&Product=ie600 but changing Encoding and clearing
Auto-Select has no effect.
I have tried repairing/reinstalling IE6 but it did not
help.
May or may not be related: These two PCs are connected to
different Domains. They each have two NIC cards in them
for this reason. 4 other PCs set up the same way do not
have the IE6 printer preview problem.
Anybody else ever see this problem? Suggestions? Fixes?
