IE 6 (main) homepage won't display

I don't know what I did but the homepage for IE6 won't display unless I
refresh. This also happens with the homepage with sbc yahoo, which is a copy
almost of internet explorer.

The tool bar comes up and the address is showing and "done" is shown at the
bottom, but just blank in the middle until the refresh or clicking "go" at
the address line.

I put in FireFox and it works just fine.

This is driving me nuts, any help would be appreciated

This would happen if you were in a Working Offline state.

Or if your cache-checking option was set to Never... (Alt-T,O,Alt-S,N)
Instead you should choose Every visit... (Alt-T,O,Alt-S,E)
