IE 6 Crash

My IE6 has been crashing constantly lately. It will only crash when I close
another window it has opened. Say I am browsing and I click a link, and a
second window opens up. When I go to close that second window, my first
original window stops responding and I need to force close it. Is this
possibly due to some plugin problem? I tried searching the internet to find
out how to uninstall and reinstall IE6 but good luck. It seems there is no
easy way to do a fresh install. I tried disabling my add-ons, but didn't seem
to help the problem. Any suggestion to troubleshoot what is causing this?

Thanks,
Toby Tucker

Hello Toby,

Open in new window doesn't work:

It sounds like you are running XP SP2 (the add-on manager being the clue) -
here is information about how to reinstall IE6
