IE 6 Closes down on loading

Hi,

My problem is since uploading and installing microsoft
updates, various web sites start to open and then IE6
closes down. If I open a page other than the index page
of the same site it opens okay. But if I select the home
button then again IE6 Shuts down. An example of one of
the sites that does this is http://www.assessrisk.com/


Can anybody help resolve my problem?

Java issue?

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

Parasite?
IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.
