Think I am also possibly suffeirng the same crashing
issue.. and it just started today as well (when I updated
windows programs!).
When I try to open IE 6 I immediately get a box telling
me the IE has encountered a problem and needs to shut
down... although I can get on the net by way of MSN
Explorer (and can look at the internet options of IE
6)... thus my guess is that IE 6 is corrupted during the
start up sequence.
I want to try and reinstal IE 6 from the net but when I
go to the download site I get the message that I have the
most recent version already.. how do you fully delete IE
6.0 and then reinstall it?.. Also do I need to use a
different browser (e.g. netscape) to be able to fully
delete IE6 or can I use MSN Explorer in the meantime?
Any help on reinstalling/fixing a corrupt version of IE 6
gratefully received....
Thanks.
