Hello all,
Just wanted to see if this is:
a.) possible already
or
b.) if it can be added as a feature in IE7
In IE, when you click a link, or JavaScript changes the document.location,
it makes a "click" noise. Although I'm sure, when this was originally
dreamed up, it seemed like a good idea... it has proven to be a royal PITA.
I don't want this feature *at all*, but I'd be happy with a toggle, in the
settings, to turn this behaviour off.
It is most anoying, when you are listening to music (mp3's, ogg, etc.) on
the PC, as it unnessesarily ruins your train of thought (and there's no
volume control, in relation to the rest of the sounds)
For all Web Developers, this is really anoying, since we test all our
pages/sites/apps in other browsers first (for Web Std's), then do a final
test in IE, to see if it still works, or needs a workaround to support legacy
browsers.
Thanks.
