IE 6.0 Crashes

Everytime I goto a site that has embedded audio/video IE
crashes this is the error msg I get.

since this seems to be a common problem with that damn annoying media player
cause all my other browser dont like streaming media too now - why doesnt
microsoft come up with a solution. why? because there is no alternative to
this DRM stuff.

I have a similar problem with IE 6 in Win XP. The only difference is that it
happens sporadically when I go to different websites--not with media player.
When it happens I always get a "hung app" error. It also happens sometimes
when using different programs to access the web. Someone suggested it might
be a program incompatibility problem, and to try removing all programs from
startup, (using msconfig), and restarting each one individually until it
happens again. This didn't work because it just doesn't happen all the time.
It's almost as if it happens if I click on a link too fast and/or get
impatient for the link to open. Then it freezes up. The only way to clear it
is to reboot. Otherwise, it just keeps happening. I had the same problem on a
different computer that I had upgraded from Win 93SE to Win XP. I have since
gotten a new computer with XP home edition and it's happening again. I keep
sending error reports to MS but can't find any solution for it.
