IE 6.0 clash

If I open a PDF document in IE and close this PDF document
window, the error message "Microsoft Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience." will be raised and the old IE window
will be also closed after I click "Send Error Report"
or "Don't Send".

If somebody knows how to fix this problem, please help.
Thanks.

Thanks Frank,

I have uninstalled and install the Acrobat Reader several
times. It doesn't work, and Netscape 7.1 doesn't have this
problem (I want to use IE). The problem should be in IE
(IE clash also in some other cases).

I have uninstalled and install the Acrobat Reader several times.

It isn't clear if you are following Frank's suggestion completely.
FYI versions of AR 5.0 are known to cause this symptom
(due to an incompatible BHO). Unchecking the Advanced option
Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)
*might* avoid the crash (but cause other undesirable symptoms
with other third-party programs). It would be best, as Frank suggests,
to download and install the NEWEST version of AR.
