Ideal circumstances

Hi,

For 2 years now, a database I developed has been working fine but due to the
increase in data, it is getting slower.
I split it up in Front end (12MB) and back end (30MB after compression) and
it works great but is very slow as soon as 10 or more users are on it at the
same time.

Does anyone know where I can find the perfect circumstances for having a
fast running database over a network?
All settings/equipment that can make it work better.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Thanks Doug,

I checked this and most of it seems ok.
I guess the users should learn to deal with having some delay.

From some of the examples given on Tony Toews page, it would seem that my DB
is not that slow.

Thanks again
Ben
