Hi,
I wonder if anybody knows this. I used to be able to see the actual icon
picture in windows explorer next to the icon file,
like b.ico would be like a letter "B" or cat.ico did look like a cat. There
was no need to open the file in a picture editor, like Paint. I was messing
around and now all the icons have the same Paint icon next to them so I have
to open them for viewing. This is very bothersome. I have no clue how to
restore the original file association, it does not seem to exist.
I looked in another "unharmed" computer too see what the program to open
*.ico files is, and it is "unknown". So what is this UNKNOWN program? How do
I find out? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I need this to
save favicons for favorites.
TY.
