Icon image in Combo Box?

What I'd like to do is use a Combo Box to select a graphic image
instead of text, something a simple as a circle or square. I can use
an external image (e.g. jpeg) or a small dwg object created within
Excel.

Is this possible, or am I stuck with text only?

FWIW, I figured out a solution on my own.

To make this work, I ended up creating a custom font with the symbols
I needed as text. Works like a charm.
