I think the whole idea of "ICE" was that when and if an ambulance was called, sometimes the person they were attending might not be in a concious state..Therefore unable to tell of their ailments/aches/pains and allergies....HAving the "ICE" number means that when the Paramedics call it they can easily determine wether the patient has an form of allergy to any medication, or might be pregnant..Or just had an heart attack....You see where i'm going with this...????

Well my 3 little letters in my phone say "MUM" if they hit that or "DAD" then they are sure to get either my next of kin or someone damn close..

Failing that if you don't have a mum or a dad then ICE would suffice..:D

In case of emergency take me to the nearest pub :D

And on a serious note, I think ICE is a good idea, I'd never heard of it before.

But there again I'm not on any important medication and the only thing I'm aware of that I'm allergic to are horses.

And where I live we don't see a lot of horses...
