IBM T22 ThinkPad keyboard mapping

Dear reader,

My IBM Thinkpad T22 has Windows XP professional installed.
My problem is that the printing on the ThinkPad's keys is
not 'standard' compared to my other keyboards.
However Windows XP hasn't seen this yet and treats the
keyboard as a standard keyboard.

E.g. the @ sign is next to the return key but to get the @
key I still have to press [shift]+2.

Is there a sofware solution for this or should I get my
laptop repainted?

With kind regards,

Henk Stegeman

At bottom right of screen you have an 'EN' symbol (selects language
used) This will be set to keyboard style US at present. Set to UK (I
had to delete the US to get the UK to hold) and hey presto... "and @
the right way round. Like you I wasted hours searching before
stumbling on thie solution. Nice to have my £ sign back as well. Good
luck.
