IBM, Intel Propose Extension to PCI Express Computing Standard

Geneseo is Intel's proposed extension to PCI-Express and a competitor
to AMD's Torrenza initiative. IBM is also a supporter of Torrenza. So
as usual, IBM has its hands in both camps.

So does this mean that CSI will be/is a hacked low-latency version of

Well....it was already thus, without the proposal ;-)
The proposal may be one result of Intel deciding to open up CSI...

Except that Geneseo also applies to FSB, not just CSI.

In fact, I bet CSI and HT3 are to all intents and purposes equivilent.
And no I don't know anything much about CSI so no NDA involved.
