I wish the person that designed this P.O.S. operating system spends the whole of eternity trying to

It's took me alllllllllllll morning and Vista still hasn't managed to burn a
single CD

1/ Vista goes through 20 minute ragmarole everytime i merely put disk in it

2/ After spending 15 minute copying the tracks i want to CD-RW - Vista
doesn't actually copy them and marks them 'to be copied' - despite the fact
that Vista *knows* how big the files are & also *knows* how much space is on
CD it does not let you know how much room you have left to fill - leaving me
to *guess*

3/ Not until you 'start' the copy process (which takes another hour after
it's asked about 200 questions about formats despite me only every using one
format method *ever* in my life) - only *then* does it realise you dont
have enough room - Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

4/ Even then the obvious answer is just to tell you, so you can maybe delete
some tracks (after *guessing* how many) then try again

5/ This P.O.S. makes the crazy assumption you will exchange the disc for one
which hold 22 terrabytes - jigs around for 40 minutes before it ejects the
correct disc

So now you have to start alllllllllllllllll over

I wish the person that designed this POS operating system spends the whole
of eternity trying to burn CDs using Vista - now that is truly HELL

Update: The CD-RW has just been belched out again by Vista so as far as
burning CD - i've given up - my life will never be long enough to have the
time to do it
