I/O Error

D

Daniel

Hi

I am running XP SP2 with a P4 1.3 gig
and 784 meg RAM.

I am trying to install a program I have downloaded and get a
message,

"An I/O error has occurred while installing a file. This
is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation
file."

I have tried downloading the file again, several times and get the same
message.
I have checked on the Newsgroup of the users of the program and no one else
is having the same problem, so several thousand people are succeeding.

Please let me know what I can do about this.

thanks

Daniel

Hi

I followed the instructions on your Web site but
I still have the same problem.
Is there anything else I could try?

thanks

I'm sorry, I cannot do that, it
is a password protected site for
updates to a program I have.

cheers

Daniel

Well, then there's not much more I can do for you. You will need to refer to
support for the program in question.
