Does anyone know where I can buy the Auto-Reset chip for Epson Stylus
Photo 900? I know they have been around for quite sometime, I can find many
oversea companies carry Audo-Reset Chip for Epson and HP but can't find any
company any America. The price of the Auto-Reset chip vary from $5-20 (with
and without cartridge).

You can search for "auto-reset chip" from www.google.com

I am using SSC software right now, and already replaced 4-5 CHIPS to keep
my printer going (don;t want to go much more detail on this) and that is why
I want the Auto-Reset chip.

I am using the CIS system from your company, and have already replaced 5-6
chips because CSS failed to accept (to reset the ink level). And few months
ago you guy quoted me around $25 each chip (now costs $50 each chip?), and I
want to replace the regular chip and using CSS program but my printer won't
accept the chip after little use, and the Chip Resetter device I bought from
your company worked twice on the BLACK but never work on the color
cartridge.

Below is the email I got from Weink few months ago (my first problem with
the chip or around 2-3 weeks after I got the CIS).

-----------------------------------
According to the original order
your system has programmable chips not
read only chips. You will need to use either
a software utility reset or manual chip resetter.

If either method is not restting the chip then
replace the affected chip.

You may purchase Read-Only chips here:

Thanks for the links and I will check them out right after this message.
I don't know what has been going on but Epson 900 (using CIS) keeps killing
the chip and I have already replaced 4-5 of them. And the ink level drops
much faster (400-500% or even more) than regular ink cartridge. But since
it's the CIS (Continuous Ink System) so it doesn't matter much (about the
ink) but it has more chance to kill the chip.

Right now, the chip on Black cartridge won't be recognized by CSS program
and I have to trick Epson that newer cartridge just installed and I have to
do this every 2-3 prints (and I only use to print Printable DVD/CD).

Well, I just checked 2 sites and I think you misunderstood my message that
I want the AUTO-RESET *not* Resetter which I already have.

AUTO-RESET is the CHIP and it always tell the printer that the cartridge is
FULL, so no Chip Resetter or CSS needed. And since I am using CIS so I
won't have to worry about running out of ink.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help. And you may want to check 3 sites I
posted above to have some idea what AUTO-RESET chip is.
