I need help with windows Viesta.

Alright I bought a Toshiba Satellite A100/A105 Laptop.
Well when I bought it, I tryed to get Windows onto my Laptop and did.
But then I had to Defrag my whole Computer and the little sticker that was
on the bottom of my Laptop with the Windows Info came off and then my Mother
cleaned my room and she threw away the sticker. So I could not Activate
windows.
Now my 30 days are almost up and my Questions are....

1. is there a way to Activate windows without the Product Key? I have the
Receipt when I bought the Laptop, and the box it came in and all the papers
as well.

or

2. Get a new Product key without spending another $100 USD For Windows
Again...

If you entered the product key when you installed Windows (which you should
have), then you can activate without the key.

Those stickers are on there pretty good... Suprised it came off!

I know...

but i Had to De Frag my Computer cause of a Virus and before that happened
the sticker came off. i dont know how that happened...

But is there a way I can get the Product Key Back without re buying it...

I dont have an Extra $100 around...

Hi,

That's not defragging, that's reinstalling. When you did that, you wiped out
any chance of recovering the original product key. Contact the laptop
manufacturer. If you registered your purchase they should be able to help
you.

You would have to contact the laptop manufacturer. They would be able to get
that back for you. If not, then your only option would be to purchase
another license, unfortunately.

If you have to rebuy, Amazon has license only product. If I recall you
would save about $20 depending on version.
