Vista only wants to install a WAN network and I can not setup a normal
network connection to the Net. I checked and all the internet protocals are
there, but I can not create and net account? What could be wrong?

What do you consider a "normal" connection. I would consider it to be a wide
band Ethernet connection.

Are you saying that WAN is not Wide Area Network??? Yes I mean wide band
Ethernet connection. I think I am a wake now. :) Vista is foreign to me and
I have not a clue how to setup a new connection, especially when it sets up a
WAN only.

If you are trying to setup a broadband connection that doesn't require
a logon ID and password, Vista normally does that all by itself
without you having to intervene.
