I can't setup users welcome/ login screen

You might want to take a look at this article:

Error Message When You Try to Turn On Welcome Screen or Fast
User Switching
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315347&Product=winxp

To put it simply,
Go to Control Panel
Double click Network Connections
Right click your LAN connection
Select Properties from the menu
Click on Client Service for Netware
Hit the Uninstall button
Restart you computer

You should now be able to setup the Welcome Screen and Fast
User Switching.

Good luck

THANK-YOU "NEPATSFAN", AND Angela, I to had the exact same problem, and spent
two days trying to find the file for CSNW........NO File on XP!!!!! Had to
hunt a little in Microsoft but finally found the right stuff. Will put this
