I need a formula to do a league

I'm making a dreamteam league for my firends and I.

Say for example i have:

Dave is in colum a then 12 in colum b then mark in c then 15 in d and
so on

I want to do a league and have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd through to 8th place and
have the correct name and score next to each place.

What formula should i put it 1st, 2nd and so on?
