I need a 25 character product key for microsoft word 2000,

Cannot find my cd cover and also am having a hard time locating the
Certificate of Authenticity, The code window says should find the 25
character key there[certificate].Also have Office 97 but when I try to setup
I get a message saying my system is currently not configuered to run this
program.I am using Windows XP Pro and desperatly need to find a way to
install either Excel or Word because the word processing capabilities of
Wordpad are driving me mad. Somebody please help me and I'll be your slave
for EVER.

This is an Access database newsgroup and you are unlikely to find what
you're looking for here. I suggest that you contact Microsoft support with
your problem. They are very good about replacing missing and damaged media
for the cost of shipping and handling. You will need to prove that you are
the owner, but since you have the CDs, that shouldn't be a problem.
