from what I have observed there is only one explaination!
Its the KERNEL update! From 6 to 6.1!!!
It seems that they streamlined it and fixed various bugs that was making
vista slow without good reason!
I can say that Vista with SP1 is at least 15-20% faster than Vista pre-SP1
That makes it almost as fast as XP, and with Superfetch some stuff loaded
into the cache actually load up faster/
Its as if Vista now has better speed with the hard disk... while before its
interaction with the disk seemed slow to me..
not exactly slow.. its hard to explain... but I have a sixth sense with
computers and I know when something is not working well
and that was exactly what I felt with Vista pre SP1 without being able to
locate the cause..
